I have a lot of feels for this mess of a novel I’m writing. Have considered cutting scenes/chapters and merging two characters. But there’s no point in any major surgery yet because the first draft is STILL UNFINISHED.
"Ok. This is either going to be incredible or a train wreck. Just saying"

Year-Long Writer’s Challenge
Are you a writer? Are you absolutely insane? Do you enjoy the kind of hell National Novel Writing Month puts you through?
There’s more! You can put yourself through a year of this hell!

Plot wise, this isn’t nearly done. At best I’d put it 2/3rds done, at worst 1/2 done. But that’s not what NaNoWriMo’s about is it? Does it matter that some of these words that I’ve written are crap and will be struck out as soon as I start revising? NO.
I wrote 50,000 words in 30 days. That’s averaging 1,668 words a day, but clearly some days I wrote more (a lot more on Sunday) and others a lot less. (yes even a couple goose eggs)
Yeah any potential romance between my two characters is killed the moment I mention the girl still looks like a teenager. despite being in her mid/late 20s.
My protagonist just isn’t feeling it.

I do not care that today isn’t November 30th. I’m posting my stats because today is the day I wrote 7000 words to catch up. I feel like it’s November 30th.
I know the official stats say only 5020. But that was because I inflated my wordcount by 2000 words yesterday out of desperation of falling too far behind.
Don’t believe me? Have another photo.
That session is just for today. I feel like I ran a marathon. But it also feels awesome knowing I am just 5000 words from the goal and exactly where I need to be to reach it on time!
Reblog if you love to write.
Whether it be fanfiction, original stories, drabbles, songs, poems, books, or anything that has to do with creative words, then reblog. Let’s gather all the writers of Tumblr together.

he was scanning for anomalies, ripples and changes in time that an inexperienced time-traveler without a keen sense of history was nearly doomed to cause.
