Today has been very weird because of the wisdom teeth getting removed. I took an extra Ativan in the morning so afterwards I felt woozy. Luckily we had the car. New CEO and EIC dropped the axe today. We’re a small offshoot of an NY office. We lost an editor and two personal finance/consumer beat guys. They’re awesome coworkers who I’ve only known a couple months but i really enjoyed working with them.
Now we’re down to six now including myself. The office feels way too big.
I’m glad I still have a job but I am terrified...

Showed Mom Rose. She’s seen nearly all of Matt and a smattering of David but almost none of Chris. I hooked her with Vincent and the Doctor because she’s an art buff.

Wore my star trek red shirt tithe hunger games. And brought my sonic screwdriver pen along as well.
The movie itself was pretty good. Very well made, especially turning a story told through Katniss’s eyes and expanding it. The pacing might have been a bit off near the end as I remembered it from the book but it worked for the movie.
