I censor myself the most on Facebook because I have family as friends. And now twitter is creeping up there because my boss is following me. I came out on twitter but it’s buried in my stream of 11k tweets. So this is really the only place I’m not censoring myself. Right?
First day at TheStreet.com. Let’s see what happens.
My dream was just like a Doctor Who christmas special except much darker. The Doctor wanted to save this Mexican teen from the slums who was depressed and suicidal. So he tries taking him to a small village but lands in the middle of a small pox outbreak and the Germans are invading.
So if I had been a British child growing up in the early 60s and happened to catch the premiere of Doctor Who I would have been HOOKED. But I think the serial hasn’t stood the test of time. I might be biased since I think the Star Trek pilots have stood the test of time even though they’re only three years younger. They’re also in color, and made in Hollywood, a completely different studio than the BBC. I’m sure Gene Roddenberry had more money than the Doctor Who team, if not a whole lot more.
I have to admire the creator/producer, Verity since she made the program so successful despite being a woman in a man’s world.
