So Lent is approaching and there’s been talk of sacrifice, something I don’t do well. I don’t indulge in much or that often - I guess I spread my vices and weaknesses pretty equally so I always psyche myself out and say giving one of these up isn’t going to make a big difference.
And then I thought of the one thing I can’t give up. Sex. Because I already gave it up. But you can’t really give up what you don’t participate in. It’ll just be a running joke this Lent.

Holy ______.
I have a desk job that keeps me sitting for the vast majority of my day. I mean, I am glued to my computer for nine hours a day, taking only the shortest of breaks. I even eat lunch at my desk while continuing to work. It’s a rewarding job - I love it, and in this economy, I am very glad to have…
I should remember this for next week. Maybe it’ll help me stay on task better.
Because I’m trying to get my few Catholic friends to meet her. I’m evangelizing. She’s awesome and I love her.
At 22 years old, I’ve already had periods in my life where there’s only one set of footprints at the beach. I’m in this for the long haul, and my faith in the big guy upstairs has definitely helped me through my hardships both past and present.
Something my Campus minister said today. At the end of the day, It’ll always go back to Him. Prayer, Mass, Song, anything - even just talking, it finds its way back to Him.
